More Than a Brand. A New Chapter.
Lumbre is more than a business to me. It is a reminder of how far I have come and of the woman I have become along the way.
My journey here wasn’t a straight line. Life has brought me through seasons of change, loss, uncertainty, starting over, and moments that challenged me in ways I never expected. There were chapters when simply finding my footing again felt like an accomplishment.But through every chapter, I kept moving forward.
As a woman, a mother, and someone who has had to rebuild more than once, I’ve learned that starting over doesn’t mean starting from nothing. You carry everything you’ve learned, everything you’ve survived, and every dream you haven’t given up on with you.
Lumbre is one of those dreams.
The word Lumbre means fire or flame in Spanish, and I couldn’t imagine a name that better represents what this journey means to me. Fire can represent warmth and passion, but it can also represent transformation the ability to come through difficult seasons changed, stronger, and ready to begin again.
My love for my Mexican heritage and admiration for its beautiful artisan traditions inspired me to build a brand that celebrates craftsmanship with meaning. Lumbre brings together genuine leather handbags, wallets, and accessories handcrafted in Mexico, where the details, textures, tooling, embroidery, and natural variations make each piece beautifully individual.
But behind every handbag is something even bigger for me. It’s the pride of building something of my own. It’s taking a chance on myself. It’s creating a future that once existed only as an idea and watching it slowly becomes real.
Today, I can look back at everything it took to get here and say something I don’t think we say to ourselves often enough: I AM READY! It is time that I humbly invite you to experience this adventure with me.
